I generally believe Poland does a pretty bad job of selling itself abroad relative to its natural beauty, delicious cuisine and beautiful and warm population but this video - albeit far too long - strikes the right notes. Enjoy, yes please.
Couple of weird moments: Robert Duvall gleefully emphasising Polish hussars fighting "the Muslims" and Robert Redford warning America might slip into Communist era repression of free speech. At least Ralph Fiennes manages to say Krakow correctly.
Perhaps it's a sad indictment of today's world that we need to have celebrities explain to us why a place is wonderful, but then you wouldn't need to do this video for the UK or US - our reputations are pretty established and stable. Poland needs to get better at it and I'm all for anything that tries that.
Meanwhile here's another great video showing the view of life through the windows of London's buses. Really well shot and touching, I thought.
But not as touching as this friend's video of a friend's wedding. It's really quite amazing what talented, amateurs are achieving with HD cameras and modern editing software tools.
Which brings me to one last video of my dubstep crew, The Lordz Team, and the author at a recent music night at Plac Zabaw. If you look closely you can see me decanting eighteenth century ballads through a microphone on a couple of occasions. Enjoy, yes please.
